Dear Christopher,
It’s been 18 years since your mama went missing. I can’t imagine how your life has been since we last saw you 15 years ago before the State of Alabama placed you with a wealthy family.
I’m thankful for the people who have reached out to us over the years and shared information about your life growing up. Glimpses of your life the wealthy family was not able to prevent. I can only hope you’ve had a happy life, one grounded in our Lord.
Grandpa and I have not stopped thinking about you. You’re 19 years old now. I don’t know if you’ve even been told about your mama or her family. Know we’ve loved you all these years from afar and if one day you’d like to know about her and who she really was, just reach out to us.
One thing is certain, you were the love of her life and she would’ve laid down her life for you…and I believe she did. We’re still actively looking for her. I hope one day we’ll find her and bring her home.
