My dear followers,
I’m extremely touched by the story of Amanda Berry, two other women and a six year old girl held captive for years in Cleveland, Ohio until Amanda’s bravery lead to their release yesterday. I can’t begin to imagine their unfathomable emotional ride over 10 long years and then finally found. I can only believe their emotional scars will be deep and intense. I pray for them and their families for the future will hold challenges as they begin to heal. My heart goes out to them. May they feel the warmth of God’s love surround them during this time.
Their story is of hope. It makes me think about our daughter Nadia Kersh and once again I run through the possibilities of what may have happened to her over four years ago. She disappeared from Homewood, AL on November 3, 2008 leaving behind her one year old son Christopher Kersh. She was 23 years old at the time and a single mom. I pray people will not forget her (and her son) and to keep up hope that one day she too will be found.
In His love,
Nancy
Aloha,
This week has brought me hope for you and your family. Thinking of your family and especially Nadia & Christopher. I can’t imagine walking a day in your shoes. I can’t imagine the pain that swells in your heart over the unknown circumstances of Nadia. I too, hope and pray that Nadia is found soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sue & TC
I thought of Nadia when I saw them being rescued.
I know for a lot of families with missing children this brings a new glimmer
Of hope. My hope always Will me that she will be brought home and reunited with her family.
With love and prayers
